camel toes.. they have 12 altogether

this is for you, monkey: a whole site about camel toes (www.cameltoe.org/). fun stuff. some of them are remarkably disgusting.

thanks to richard for showing me this site: a softer world. i couldn't stop reading.. until i got to the end that is.

i had a really good weekend. we did lots of stuff. among the best/funnest: taking down a tree with a wench and the tree floating on the post and eventually falling on one of us; partying it up on elgin and seeing a fight where one guys head had a huge cut on it; finally getting me some cake.

this week holds a whopping 4 days of work and a trip to kingston for my graduation. this morning was already wasted on an all staff meeting. it was awful. this afternoon will be wasted on surfing the internet and playing minesweeper. thanks for paying me, alcatel.

uh oh.. another group hug

check out www.foundmagazine.com. a site a lot like grouphug in that you can read it for hours and hours. perfect for those of you with boring office jobs or those of you without jobs who have hours and hours of sitting in front of your computers while the rest of the world either works or sleeps. don't blame me if you get hooked.

news from the office: stolen winnie the pooh mug! i left my bright yellow mug on top of the communal floor fridge (yes this is a lot like residence) last friday only to find it stolen so i made a poster including a mug shot (and i will take a picture for all your crazies to see) and taped it to the fridge. i'm even offering a reward, not cash.. more like piece of mind for returning my mug. if anything i hope the poster gets some laughs.

so we're going to party like it's 1999.. in about 5 weeks. details to follow.

i finally have a secure 9-5 type job that pays well and all i want to be doing is lying out in the sun. who knew?

i just looked at my page stats. i thought it was strange that monday was such an awful day. like where were you guys on monday? not here!

new avril!

baseball
the team looks good this year. i, however, am not looking so hot yet. my body's getting older and doesn't like it .. apparently.. when i throw it in and make it play 7 games in three days. i don't like getting old. i might get myself a new pair of cleats though. i think that if i do they will last me forever. that's what i say now though. cleats are becoming cheaper and cheaper.. in quality not in price.

work
it's daytime during the week. you guessed it. that means i'm at work. work has gotten a little better. i've met with people that seemed to not not respect me (did that make sense?). and somehow i don't feel too stupid yet. we get to take hour long lunches every day so we (the four of us summer students in legal services) go down to the caf. picture your high school cafeteria. that's about it but with comfy-er chairs and microwaves. it's strange but nice to get away from the computer and desk for an hour a day. plus we get paid for 30 of those minutes.

other
we had company this past week. the house was a little louder and i wasn't the only one making noise. we had a huge birthday dinner.. i ate so much food.

i want a cat. i miss having one around. but i don't want one yet. at least one that i would actually have to take care of.

i set off the house alarm four times yesterday. i was just trying to reset the time on the display.. daylight savings you know.

meetings are for chumps

yay for fridays! and muggy weather and smog. i saw kingston on the news last night.. very smoggy indeed. here it got real dark and threatened rain and tornado activity in some parts, but ended up raining for a solid 5 minutes. that didn't do much for the new grass seed.

i just scheduled myself three meetings for next week. this work thing is really starting to pick up. thank goodness for that. i won't be so terribly bored around here.

i have taken nup reading grouphug.us. it's additive. i hate to admit it but the confessions make me feel good about my life. there are also some rather scary themes throughout the posts, including such things as a male/female leaving their spouse for a male/female/their sibling/their spouses' sister/brother. man, people are fucked up. i decided that if i were ever to post on that site i wuld chang my gramer so that no1 wuld reconiz me at all and u wuld nevr no. how's that?

blogging from work

i've been such a delinquent about blogging recently. i'm going to attempt to fill the void from work.

we're redoing the front lawn so there's dirt everywhere. we were talking about having people over for a barbeque but then the dirt. right. no fun. but soon we'll have a nice nice grassy front yard.

i've been really busy getting used to working 8-4 and having baseball. we had a tournament last weekend and as a result i couldn't walk very well until yesterday. the soreness is finally gone. our team looks good this year. i'll be updating my other site with a schedule if you're terribly interested.

well well

this new blogger stuff is pretty cool. i'm going to take some time and figure it all out, but not tonight. tonight is for eating chicken and scanning stuff at the bay.

i've been super busy with work and sleeping and baseball and running around doing wedding stuff.

i did try that googlism thing and was upset when it found nothing for my name, NOTHING! the name just isn't popular enough. maybe that's a good thing.

until next time.

postin from workie

i'm a little bored. the boss isn't in yet and we can't do anything till we get our system in place (and i have to get help desk to hook up my phone properly). i shouldn't be complaining - i have a job and soon to have a paycheque.

is it bad that i totally missed a t4? i dropped it off yesterday. i think i have to re-file my taxes. good thing mom has an accountant friend.

hey gw'ers, eve totally ranted about the pill. you should have a look-see. i thought it was great. though she didn't mention anything about the complete lack of sex drive. you heard me.

back at it

well boys and girls, it's definitely been a crazy couple of weeks but i'm back into the swing of things. today i start my new job at alcatel. i'm even up early and i went for a run. crazy. and last night i went around the internet and read everyone's blog that i hadn't had a chance to read in a while.

i'm still not quite sure if i passed one of my courses (cause queen's takes about ten million years to mark exams and get the marks up) so i'm not sure if i'll be taking a summer course or not. i don't really know what i'm doing with my life when it comes to furthering my education. hopefully i'll have some of it figured out by the end of the week.

baseball tried to start last night but it was pouring and practice was cancelled. instead of running around in the rain for two hours i came home and addressed invitations and put together my desk and did laundry. we have our first tournament this weekend in Manotick or Kars. i'm guessing i'm going to be a little sore and possibly all scratched up after that.

we have about 400 pictures from bc. i might be able to post some of them on my picture page, but not all. i'll let you know when i've done that. we definitely had a great time. highlites include seeing an albino peacock, going out to sea on the hmcs ottawa, not knowing what day/month it is, and seeing the crab fight and the ugly wolf eels in the undersea gardens. all in all i would have to say that vitoria is beautiful. it felt like we travelled to california (except without the americans like someone likes to say). and now i can definitely say that i've been to the west coast of canada. now: the east coast.
