this life

so work is still work, but it's a job with only three weeks left for me. and the countdown's on! it's strange how last week they emailed all the summer students and invited us to this lunch thing to meet everybody... because it's not the end of the summer or anything. alcatel's a little slow on that one.

i've been looking for another job. it's not the easiest thing in the world, but this time i'm in the right city so that should make my hunt a little easier. i'm really hoping for something biology-related, in fact i'm going to hold out for a bio job, at least until the new year. if i haven't found something by then i'll be so poor and do desperate that if subway offered me a job i would take it.
