last night i was intentionally hit by a pitch. it's a long story, but i'm not calling it intentional without reason. two innings before the girl threatened to hit me and then she did. right on the elbow. wow it hurt. i spent 4 hours in the hospital, 3 of those were just waiting and an hour was actually talking to the doctors and getting x-rayed and talking to the doctors again.
good thing is that nothing's broken and i'm not too too sore.
i am writing a letter though. i don't think that girl should be allowed to play anymore, but i doubt she'll get anything that tough. but still, i will write a letter to her coach and the umps and the league officials.
this weekend is a weekend off so we might head up to the cottage. we haven't been yet this summer and i'm looking forward to really doing nothing, even if we don't make it out there and just sit around here all weekend. that would be fine too.

Intentionally hit! That's outrageous. I'm glad that you're writing a letter. I hope you're okay. Grr, what a sad state of affairs when that's your strategy, eh?
